This policy explains what personal information InteractiveWebs (ABN 85 815 958 518) collects through this website and our hosting services, and how we handle it. We handle personal information in accordance with the Australian Privacy Act 1988 and the Australian Privacy Principles. Our mobile and tablet apps have their own privacy policies, published on each app's support page.

What we collect

• Contact form — if you send an enquiry, we receive the name, email address, enquiry-type selection and message you provide, along with the IP address the enquiry came from and the time it was sent. It is emailed to our sales mailbox and is not stored in a database on this website.
• Billing — if you become a client, our billing system stores your name, contact details, billing address and invoicing history. Payments are processed by our payment providers; full card numbers are not stored on our servers.
• Hosting services — websites and mailboxes we host for you necessarily store the content you and your users put in them. That data is yours; we access it only to provide support and keep the platform running.
• Server logs — like nearly every web server, ours keep standard access logs (IP address, pages requested, browser type) for security and troubleshooting. This static website sets no analytics or advertising cookies and runs no third-party trackers. Pages do load their fonts from Google Fonts, which means Google receives your IP address and browser type when a page loads — the same as any site using that service.

How we use it

• To respond to enquiries and provide the services you have asked for.
• To invoice, administer accounts and provide support.
• To keep our infrastructure secure — for example, investigating abuse or attacks in server logs.
• We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it with third parties except the service providers needed to run the business (such as payment processors) or where the law requires it.

Email

Client mailboxes we host are private. We do not read hosted email except where unavoidable during technical support, and spam filtering is automated.

Storage and security

Our servers are managed by us. Access to systems holding personal information is limited to the people who operate them, protected by standard security controls. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect the information we hold.

Access, correction and deletion

You may ask us at any time what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it (subject to records we are legally required to keep, such as tax and billing records). Contact us using the details below and we will respond promptly.
